Detailed horror poster analysis.


The colours in this make it look scary because the red (blood) goes well on the white decaying wall. The connotations to the colour red are evil, death, blood and more. Also the connotations to grey are darkness, dull settings, depression and sadness.
The main image includes a women dragging her hand across a wall with blood in the shape of the killers face, this goes well with the colours as the red really stands out.
The way the title of the film is written is effective because the the black fade goes well against the white background.
All these things make are good to put on a poster for a horror film because it includes everything needed to make it look scary.
